Task: Design and implement development needs analysis for senior management
Key issues:
- Meet client and agree specific outcomes and timescales.
- Work closely with internal HR team to schedule interviews
- Ensure all 30 participants in the survey do a 60 issue development needs card sort prior to interview
- Meet with all 30 Chief Exec included for one hour interview
- Collate. analyse and deliver summary report of over 300 needs
- Meet Executive Management Team to discuss issues resulting
- Continue contact with client to help ensure genuine value
Case 2

Client: Large County Council
Task: Design and run a Team Leader development programme
Key issues:
- Meet client and agree detailed needs including early start time
- Liaise with , and agree accreditation route with assessment centre
- Implement programme with project support between modules
- Support value added project teams to presentation
- Ensure Chief Executive presence at project presentations
- Help with the managerial challenges the project often prompts
Case 3

Client: Independent Trainer in need of advice
Task: Help with pitch to secure high value project
Key issues:
- Clarify and specify client needs - especially important when by phone.
- Produce email summary of the above and agree with timescales.
- Specify hours of my time required and an hourly rate for that.
- Research, analyse, reflect and summarise thoughts and email these.
- Discuss thoroughly the above with client to explore all key issues.
- Ensure client is totally happy with outcomes.
- Respond to further requests for help and advice prior to the big day.
