Work history and experience


Thirty six years of Management Development.


Six years in Local Government then four in the Road Transport Industry.


Independent self employed practitioner since July 1992.

I have delivered various accredited programmes for more than thirty four years.


My focus is always to create substantial, attributable financially measured value.


Programmes include a supported work based project linked to unit learning outcomes.


Projects have an agreed minimum value and are presented to senior management.


Individual projects regularly return values in excess of £250,000.



My style of delivery


I am focused on helping individual learners make lasting differences in the workplace.


I support and encourage, and if I need to I confront and challenge constructively.


I show tangible commitment to my own learning - I have kept a learning log since 1987.


I put in a lot of time over and above what is paid in support of motivated people.


Helping people to learn is all I have ever done, and I care deeply about my work.


Over many years, I am able to work in a flexible, supportive way in many contexts.





Since 1982 I have developed a very considerable learning resource.


At this time I have for instance over 11500 videos available for individual viewing.


In addition, I have developed over 14500 slides in 19 sets – 251 on leadership.


As well as this I have over 16500 articles in pdf format – over 300 on leadership.


I design all my own material, much linked directly to accredited units.


This provides me with the flexible means to support individual interests and learning.



Based in Gloucester, I am accustomed to travelling where required to fulfil client needs.
