Apprenticeship levy-recovery leadership programmes
I am currently designing and from August 2017 running levy-recovery leadership programmes principally at level three with some level five delivery.
In order to meet the new and untested standards, I am using the ILM Trailblazer Diplomas, as these provide a platform specifically designed to meet the levy recovery conditions.
Working with ILM means access to expertise and services that gives as much certainty as is possible in these uncharted times.
Following a really thorough reading many times, of the 131 page ILM Trailblazer Diploma level 3 syllabus, I have produced 10 one page 'Outlines' with the unit learning outcomes and a list of indicative content questions taken directly from the syllabus guidance.
Next I got to grips with the ten skills units, again summarising the Learning Outcomes, Assessment Criteria, and specific tasks against which learners must produce evidence of competency.
This provided the platform to write an overall design for the delivery of all units over an eight week cycle, incorporating a project of minimum £50,000 per learner value, that would take fifteen months to complete.
There has been a lot to learn as I have done this, not least of which is that the success of any such levy-recovery programme is dependent on the quality of learner, as theirs will be a demanding journey, requiring serious amounts of support.
Do get in touch if I can help.
Yes I can deliver this programme for you if you have that need, I will also be happy to share my learning and experiences if that is more what you require at this time.
